David Stelly

Principal Engineer & President

Growing up in his dad’s collision repair shop, David developed a strong creative ability to repair and build, leading him on the path to becoming an engineer. With a passion for not only design and engineering, David also strives to bring products to life through manufacturing.  As principal engineer & President of Blue Collar Engineering, David leads the team in developing innovative solutions for a multitude of complex customers.  He has worked across numerous industries including: automotive, power-sports, safety, healthcare, oil & gas, and food & beverage. 

Jacob Richard

Mechanical Engineer

Jacob’s passion for manufacturing and fabrication became apparent when he was old enough to start using his dad’s tools. The desire to improve designs and create new things carried over and influenced his career path to pursue mechanical engineering at the University of Louisiana. His background brings advanced problem-solving skills and technical expertise to Blue Collar, and he looks forward to his continuous development in design, analysis, and product development.

Senior Designer

From a young age, Michael's exposure to his father's drafting profession ignited a lifelong passion for pursuing a career in design and drafting. Commencing his professional journey in 2012, he has displayed unwavering commitment to honing his skills in design, drafting, and project management. Armed with a deep proficiency in 3D modeling and an exceptional eye for detail, Michael consistently delivers substantial value to Blue Collar Engineering.

Blue Collar Engineering was founded in Louisiana with a vision to bridge the gap between customers and engineering by coupling our hands-on background with our engineering experience.

We aim to change the status quo narrative that engineers can be hard to work with by using our team's thorough skillset to drive extraordinary customer service from project concept to completion, ultimately streamlining efficiency, project success, and customer satisfaction.
